Thank God My Music Keeps Me Sane
The Skydog Woody Project is a recording featuring two of the world's most famous guitars.
Garry playing Allen Woody's Gibson Thunderbird bass and singing backup vocals.
Joe Davis playing Duane Allman's 1957 Gibson Goldtop Les Paul and singing lead vocals.
Patrick Daniel Trombly on drums
The trio showcased the guitars' legendary status
to reignite the magic that these guitars possess.
With the blessings and approvals of all parties
involved, the band has taken on this project with a lot of love
and respect for these guitars and where they come
from.
Guitar Magic is comprised of ten
one-of-a-kind songs, including Eric Clapton's hit song "Layla"
(on which this Goldtop was used on the original
recording).
